RECOVER-TLC opens expanded enrollment in REVERSE-LC clinical trial

The trial testing baricitinib for long COVID expanded to 17 sites nationwide and raised its enrollment target to 550 participants.

RECOVER-TLC expanded enrollment in REVERSE-LC, the clinical trial testing whether baricitinib can improve cognitive function and reduce fatigue in people with long COVID. Baricitinib is already FDA-approved for rheumatoid arthritis and for COVID-19.

The trial now runs across 17 study sites nationwide with an enrollment target of 550 participants. Researchers are testing the hypothesis that baricitinib, a JAK/STAT inhibitor, may ease long COVID symptoms by reducing harmful inflammation.

This is one of the larger active treatment trials in the field and is currently recruiting.
