A systematic review of 44 studies (7,571 participants) found 71% reported an association between autoantibodies and Long COVID, with antinuclear antibodies and those targeting G-protein-coupled receptors emerging as potential biomarkers. The authors note substantial heterogeneity across studies and call for larger, standardized research.
